Aiden is coming!!!!!

So today we found out Aiden is coming Feb 5th via c-section!!!!

His head was measuring 42 weeks when I'm only 37. AHHH
His belly was measuring at 10.12 pounds. AHHH

So yeah, no way I can deliver this baby without hurting myself. I didn't want a c-section, but I would be very very afraid to do it naturally. DANG mine and wes' big heads! lolol

But other than that. Everything is good. Good blood pressure. Aiden is good.

Just counting down the days now!!! This thursday my amazing coworkers are throwing me a baby shower. Saturday we are moving into the house and I have another shower.

Then the next friday, Aiden is coming!! Exciting busy times. Excited I get to see my parents two weekends in a row.

House update: Floors look amazing with the final coats, all the doors were install. Now baseboards need to go up, touch up on painting, and start doing something on the spare bath.

Tonight I finished my art project I started last night. Thanks to Martha Stewart's magazine, I got this great idea. To make crayon and puzzle shadow boxes. Of course mine wasn't as good as her's but I like how they turned out.They will look cute in Aiden's room. Very kid friendly. I just didnt want to put and item in it since I have 6 boxes. One is going to hold a cute piggy bank that my mom got Aiden.
Wes was out at the house all day cleaning up the house, so he could stain later. Which he is STILL doing. Gosh, I love him so much. Working so hard! They look great. I can't wait for the poly to go on. They will look brand new even though they were installed in 1973. lol He also was a crazy man today bring the stove in from the garage all by himself. I swear I don't need a hurt hubby!

Aiden has been moving so much, in constant pain. Nothing I do makes it better.....so when is this going to end? The little guy is running out of room. Even Murph feels bad for me, sucking up to me and laying his head on my belly and licking it. lol Guess he's trying to calm Aiden down too. So cute.

No work today!!!

Yeah no work today!!!!!!! MLK day! So needed it.

So I am busy busy busy cleaning, laundry, and painting shadow boxes for Aiden's room.

On a side note. Regina gave me the CUTEST little thing ever! Perfect for the diaper bag. I would have NEVER thought of getting it....Baby Wipe Case. The pattern is ADORABLE. She's going to make Aiden a little quilt out it the same fabric and another one. So cute. She got it off ETSY, which is the coolest website ever from seller Katiebug Boutique. WHENEVER my sis and my brothers soon to be wife gets pregnant I'm definitely going to get them one too. Such a great idea.

Well back to my chores of the day. Just wanted to share that.

Busy Week.

Earlier in the week Murph decided to attack a Sharpie pen I had.....and it was BLUE!!! He came up to me looking all cute and I freaked! Both his front paws were solid blue and under his mouth was blue. Needless to say I was late to work that day. I should have taken a before picture, but heres the after. You can still see the blue on the paws. Soooo in lockup that day. Bad Murphinator!!!

Then like I said I was going to do. I made Aiden a little baby blanket from that fabric I posted earlier. It turned out soo cute! Not too big nor small, so if he loves it and gets attached I don't have to worry about him dragging around a HUGE blanket. Which is fine by me. Plus if he loves the blanket as much as the one Regina gave me for christmas that will be awesome.

Once I finished that I had TONS of fabric left so I decided to recover a throw pillow I already had in the same fabric. It will look cute on his glider. It could have turned out better, but it looks good considering I hand sewed
it since I won't get my sewing machine until my parents come help me move on the 30th. I added little buttons in the corners to give it a little something extra in all 4 corners and added little white paint dots on them. I think it looks cute! Definitely homemade looking, but I love it. hehe all that matters!

Today, I went to the house. Looks AMAZING! I can't wait to move in. My family is amazing, helping so much and we are truly blessed! Lucky to have Wes' family in my life. Tomorrow they are sanding the floors so we can refinish them. Then we are about ready to move in. The countertops come in on friday and then the kitchen will be practically done. YEAH!!!! While the everyone worked lol, I went with Ciarra to a consignment shop near the house which I loved! They had the best kids clothes with even sales tags on them! I will be visiting there alot as Aiden grows. hehe bought his first tie there too. Once I find out how big he is on the 25th I will probably go back and get this ADORABLE blazer and some sweaters from Children's Place. Have to get Aiden looking sharp for Lane and Ashley's wedding. :-)

Cookbook club night

Today our range was delivered! Yeah!

Long day at work. Kinda tired from it and Aiden.

But today was cookbook club night, which I was excited about! All about trying new recipes on other people and not me and Wes. lol The Zucchini fries and Poppy Seed Chicken were delicious!!!!!! Such a good night with the church ladies. Good food, good scripture, and good friends/family. Plus it is totally doable club. One night a month. That will be nice to have that break away time/ me time away from my mommy time.

Off to bed. long day tomorrow. I have lots of paperwork to fill out tomorrow night for my maternity leave. UGH! No fun.

Aiden update

Today I met up with Regina to pick up the picture she got for Aiden's room. It was reframed and rematted. I love it! It's Murphy and Aiden!!!! lol It is perfect, bc those two will be best friends! Such a thoughtful gift.

I went to the doctor today for my checkup. Everything is good. Then I got good news.
ANOTHER ULTRASOUND on the 25th!!!!! I get to see Aiden again! Doc is going to quote on quote "See what he's working with" hahahahaha I keep trying to tell him don't worry he's just a big boy. lol so they might move my due date based on his size that day.....Hopefully he will come AFTER Feb 1st. lol With moving that weekend. Just got a good time. But thats out of my control God will let him come when it's time.

Today was a LONG day at work once I got back from the docs office. Tomorrow will be longer, so I'm heading to bed soon.

Side note: Bought Aiden's crib mattress today!!!! I decided today was the day. It was on sale and we might as well get it now rather than pushing it till the end of the month while we are trying to move, baby shower, etc. TOO MUCH going on!!! But I got excited. Kinda made it sink in my little boy will be coming soon. EXCITED!!!

Aiden's room is painted!!!

So today Aiden's room received the last coat of paint. YEAH!!!! I love it soooo much! I can't wait to put it all together. My picture isnt that great since it was taken with my phone, but you get the idea. We still have a little bit of painting to do for his growth chart. We are going to paint a cute giraffe next to it. It will be fun to see how much Aiden grows over the years!

We also picked out the light and faucet/shower items for Aiden's/Guest bathroom. We did a test run on the vanity of a dark stain, but then we realized the wood doesn't stain that well so we are going to paint it instead. So that was a waste.

Our bathroom floor tile is in! Grouting is getting done tonight. I can't wait! The marble floors look so nice and fancy. I never dreamed I'd have something this nice. Honestly, I'm never going to want to move.
Can't wait to hang the mirrors we got. His and Hers. lol Gotta love that!

Tomorrow I go back to the doctor, then I start my weekly appointments! AHHHH! Getting here so quick! Also my one year anniversary as Full-Time at IP is tomorrow too! Hard to believe! I've worked for them for 2 years but the other was as a Co-op. So technically Aiden can come tomorrow and I'll get my maternity leave. lol I kept praying I wouldn't have any issues and I'd reach this date or I'd have to use all my vacation time for 2010. But I made it!!! Thanks little guy!

Packing Packing Packing

Today was SUCH a long day. Work was so stressful.
Another note. Went to the house. LOOOOOVE the bathroom tile!!! Totally my dream bathroom. I love how the glass tile looks with the wall paint. Reminds me of a fancy hotel. I am so glad we gutted that nasty old bathroom. Wes and Darren are going to finish up with putting in the Marble floors then grouting everything. AHHHH!

Once we left the house I got excited about moving in soon. Move in date: Jan 30th!!!! I started packing more boxes. Some items in the kitchen I can live without until we move, a bunch of wedding items (towels, kitchen dishes), throw pillows, and lastly a bunch of Aiden's stuff. Which made me excited! I can't wait for him to get here!!!!! I started washing some of the clothes friends, family, and myself got for the little guy.

I started to think what should be Aiden's homecoming outfit. Well since the weather is SOOOOO COLD now. I don't want him to freeze. So I have the cutest offwhite sweater suit. Its got a hood and little mittens attached to it. The inside is lined with fleece, so our little boy will be toasty warm. I can't wait to see him in it!!!!!

Well off to bed, because it's back to the house tomorrow. My job. Replace outlet and light plates. FUNNNNNN! lolol

sick

Ive been feeling really nauseous lately and feeling prego. so this is going to be a short post.

My belly has dropped big time....Aiden is arriving soon! Gotta bunch of paperwork to fill out for my maternity leave, which is no fun. The time off will for sure fly by.

House news. The bathroom is getting tiled. Can't wait to see it this weekend! Me and Wes' mom picked out our bathroom mirrors at hobby lobby. They are manly I think. lol I like them. They look like pressed metal, but its really not. I seriously think this bathroom is going to turn out to be my dream bathroom. I'm never going to want to move. So addition onto the back seem like a plan to me. lolol We've got enough yard for it. lol Cut down on that arce of grass Wes has to cut.

Going to lay down...feeling bad again.

Blanket Time

Went by the house so Wes could bring the tile from the garage to the bedroom to let it sit in the heat overnight. He's beginning to tile the bathroom tomorrow! Yeah!!! I can't wait to see it. Marble floors. Large white subway tile (my favorite tile ever). Blue glass tile. Ahh getting soooooooooo excited! The house is coming together. My in-laws are amazing and helping so much, while Wes is sick and well I can't really do anything :-( Love them!!

Also today I made Murphy is own blanket. He loved my Bama blanket so much I just had too. However his is gray. I didn't want a color that would show all his lovely white fur but not show dirt either. He looks soooooooooo cute. Sleepy boy!

So then I thought since we both love our blankets so much Aiden would probably like one too. So I picked out this adorable pattern at Hancock Fabrics too. I'll probably make it this week a little every night after work.
I'm going to be needed it. I have a feeling it's going to be a LONG STRESSFUL week. It's his bedroom colors green and blues with little cars, airplanes, and trains. "Baby Playtime" is what it says. Very boyish. Wes actually went with me to the fabric store to help pick it out. Such a great hubby! :-) We are both getting SOOOO excited for him to come! Wes is gonna be a STAD lol Stay at home dad once I have to go back to work. So those to boys will be so close and great friends. Kinda jealous it can't be me, but I'd rather have Aiden with one of us while he's an infant. And plus I can't wait to see Wes be the best dad ever that I know he will be. Love those two guys well three including Murphy soooooo much! So many guys around me. Ah lol.

What a long day!

So today was a stressful day. My blood pressure rose so much. I was getting really worried, which made me take it out on Wes. :-( We had a MAJOR fight, our 1st big fight but what do you expect...pregnant, bought a house, and we are remodeling all within the 1st year of marriage. Crazy huh?! lol But we are fine now and worked things out, which is why I love him so much!! :-* Just getting so close to Aiden being due and I'm just nervous...but I gotta relax, which Wes helps me do.

Well besides that, we noticed that one of our cabinets didn't get installed right. We were suppose to have two pull out drawers...but they weren't there. So tomorrow I have to call Lowes and get them to come back out and bring the drawers bc we paid for it! Or I want a refund!

We also ordered our range and hood today! I am very excited about that. It has a warming drawer! I've never had one of those, but I'm thinking it will come in handy during family get togethers....there's lots of us! It's getting delivered on the 12th. Can't wait! Then the kitchen will finally be put together and all the appliances bought! THANK GOODNESS. lol dear lord money just going out the door.

I've been working on Adrienne's Wedding scrapbook all night. It's looking SOOO good. Waiting for my other order from snapfish to get here so I can finish. I'm hoping to finish by the 30th, bc that's when shes coming up here for my baby shower. :-)

Other than that....I think I'm getting sick......scratchy throat! NOOOOO! This week at work is going to be AWFUL too. So many code moves and most of it's mine, so if something goes wrong I gotta fix it....regardless of what time it is. So please pray all will be okay and I can leave work at 5pm :-/
