Health
This post is kind of random but I will take a moment to discuss some health issues Aiden has been having lately.
Remember a few months ago when Aiden's eye was swollen shut due to mosquito bites. Well apparently this kid's blood is sugar because no matter how much spray I put on him he ends up with bites. And I can't say no to him especially when he sees the other kids outside. So needless to say there have been lots of oatmeal baths around this house.
1st time he ended up with 6 BAD bites on his legs that formed blisters and 1 on the face. So all week to keep him from scratching his blisters I had to bandage him up. Poor baby! 2nd time I put pants on him and sprayed his arms and face the best I could without choking the boy. He still ended up with 1 on his face. UGH! I am thinking of getting one of those clip-on bug repellents for him....I just wonder if Aiden will keep it on though.
All week I have been worried about his breathing because I couldn't see any improvement after his treatments. His sleeping was HORRIBLE last week. 12-3am wake ups for mommy. I was a zombie. I had a suspected it was allergies because yes I'm on week 2 of a clartin, mucinex, and sudafed cocktail with no improvement. So I take him to the doctor friday telling her my issues and how I think he's got an ear infection too. Sure enough he was developing ear infections in both ears. My awesome Doctor Mommy senses were right! :-) 2nd due to his height and weight his breathing treatment meds were incorrect. Needed to be double what he was taking.....explains that. After one treatment in the office and MUCH improvement! So over the next week we will be doing multiple treatments daily to get him back on track. Side note: I don't know if any of y'all have CIGNA, but they are the BEST insurance. 6 big boxes of albuterol and his antibotics only cost me $8. AMAZING!
On Sunday he was feeling much better, so what does mommy do?! Force him to get a haircut. hahaha I'm evil yes I know. However, he did GREAT! Better than the 1st time. Looked down for the lady and held his head straight. She even got to use the clippers around the edges too. Guess all that watching Daddy at home taught him not to be scared of them. And dont think he always gets suckers lol 1st one was during the carwash and the other was after the hair appointment.
Other things I accomplished. Purchased his bedskirt, pillows, bed rail, and mattress protector. Because the big day is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! So nervous. Painting will have to wait but I at least did figure out the color I want. Eddie Bauer Larkspur.

Last night was eventful. We headed up to Munford for Carlos' birthday, which Aiden LOOVED because all night he got to play with a puppy. I swear this kid is a dog maniac. So cute! He would pet him and give him hugs. Beyond precious! While we were off having fun Wes was at home during the HUGE hail storm. It looked like it was snowing. Luckily it didn't go through Munford, but we had to stay up there WAY past Aiden's bedtime so on the drive home he was OUT!
The one good thing from last night is I think Aiden has officially started to like stuffed animals. AHH! The animal loving me loves that! All morning he was carrying around his puppy animal and trying to feed it.

Future Project
So I found my next projects.
The one I LOOOOVE! Every mother needs this way to keep everything organized based on child. I found it on blog I read.
CHILDREN'S HOMEWORK/MESSAGE CENTERTake a 16x20 frame. Customize the print behind. Then hot glue a clip on the front, and you have a dry erase board. I just love the spot for the bookbag. LOVE! Simple. Cheap. Perfect.
My second craft project is just hilarious! Mounted Stuffed Animal Head. haha. Just need to scope Goodwill for a cheap "victim" hahaha get some matching ribbon and a plaque. How could you not get any cuter than this. Makes me giggle so I know it will make Aiden giggle.

Blue Angels
Nothing is better than to spend a Sunday with my little man while daddy enjoy his "me time".
So we spent the A.M. eating waffles with syrup, which resulted in an immediate bath and brushing teeth. Then hurried about town picking up a few items before the main event. Blue Angels were in town!
All week they have been practicing flying over the house, so we got a sneak peek preview. But this time we headed out to the airport and stood out in the field along with several other people to enjoy the show. Silly me didn't bring my camera nor did I take pictures with my phone. BAD mommy! But I wasn't sure we were going to watch it since it was sprinkling in the A.M.
But this adorable boy would get real quite and still then when he would hear the noise he would look and point straight up and go "Ah Ah!" then I would correct him and say "Plane" and he would then reply "Pla Pla Pla". Then accompanied by his happy dance. Looks like we have a Plane loving boy here. Guess that's one perk of living near a Naval Base. Free entertainment.
One other thing Aiden loves is Grande's 4-wheeler. That is the only time he doesn't want me. Such a boy! He sequels for joy whenever Grande takes him around on it, and then is trying to climb back on when they get off. Too bad we we went out for probably 3 minutes without bug spray resulting in like 7 bad bug bites! UGH! My poor baby! So allergic to them just like me.
Since the bedroom conversion is looming I need to figure out Aiden's picture collage wall. Instead of drilling 200 holes in the wall I decided to be smart and trace everything out on white paper then tape them up on the wall. I still need to add two small frames but other than that I think I have the layout complete.

19months
Very belated, but here we go.
Stats:
Height: 34inches
Weight: 33 pounds
Size 5 diapers
2T-3T clothes
Size 7 shoe
This little guy has sprouted this last month!! Equals new clothes and shoes.
Milestones:
*More words! I have been spotting some more each day and it's exciting. It's so cute to here him say "Murph" I love it! It used to be "Darph" now he's got the M in there now. BFFs
*Started his new daycare class and LOVES it now. He enjoys being a big boy and runs in as soon as we touch his classroom door.
*Likes to put his shoes on even if they are on the wrong foot.
*I know this doesn't seem big but it is to me. When we walk up to the car he knows the procedure. His items go in the floorboard and which door to walk up to. He also knows when we get out he stays put and to hold Mommy's hand before moving.
I can tell he has grown so much, because when he gets on his plane ride-on his knees bump into the wings. I think it irritates him because he rarely rides it now he only pushes it. Now he LOVES to ride the dragon, no restriction.
And putting clothes on him isn't a struggle anymore. He actually helps me. Thank goodness! However, after bathtime I still have to chase him down to put on those pjs. He always thinks that time equals run away from Mommy and make her work for it. lol But he doesn't realize my secret weapon...Murph! If I start playing with Murph he will come sprinting toward me. I win!
Next month is the big move. Twin bed here we come. I have caught the little man with his leg propped up on the rail and him leaning halfway over the rail TOO MANY times! So I have been preparing. I scored on sheeting at Target! Thanks to the "Back to College" rush being over everything twin related was marked down. Next we will have to get a guard rail. Then I'll have to work out a time the inlaws can watch Aiden so I can put the room together. Luckily, Erica is going to help me paint. Love her! Gotta get it all done in one day so Aiden isn't sleeping in paint odors and Wes will be working so I definitely need the help.
Love being outside on days like these. Sunny a little chilly. Feels like fall!!

Saturday
Well today was so much fun! Spent the A.M. with my little guy then once Wes got home I was off to Erica's. Man, did we get alot done! Lovely time with the ladies. Needed that getaway. And I LOOOOVE how the wreaths turned out. I will post my Halloween one once I spray paint it. Normally. I'm not an animal print kinda gal, but I had to give in b/c they looked so good!!!
Once I got home we packed up and headed over to the inlaws for dinner now Wes is off to his softball game. Busy day in the Lambert household!
I got adorable "Status Reports" from Wes while I was gone. Apparently, he was BUSY! lol Um....tell me about it! :-)
This kid loooves talking on his phone. He will hold it up to his ear and go "Hey" then hand it to me, and I'll say "Ohhh Hey Daddy! Yeah he misses you alot" then Aiden will yank the phone out of my hand and say "Hey Da" into it. It's the cutest thing ever. As he proceeds to walk off and have a "conversation" with "Da" Love it!
Wes has been working so hard lately. 6 days a week. There at 5am and off mid afternoon. The best part was payday this week. :-) Which means.....I have my discount card! YAH! Just in time for all this XMAS shopping. Tomorrow, I'm going up there to get the Target Debit Card to get an additional 5% off on all purchases everyday ontop of Wes' employee discount. Hello Savings! I like this card because it draws right from your existing checking account, just like writing a check. No fees. No interest. Right up my alley.
Ah it's so peaceful now guess I'll get started on that laundry......btw RTR! Awesome game!

Plans
This weekend will be a fun one since I am having some "Mommy Time" Saturday with 2 lovely ladies making wreaths. So excited about that!
These are the wreaths we are going to make:
I will do Aiden's 19mo post tomorrow. Speaking of Aiden every day I crack up at his status report. His daycare gives us a sheet to let us know what happened during the day. How many times they were wet, bowel movements, dry, sleeping, potty, etc. Achievements, If they are running low on items, Behavior Issues, etc.
There are two funny columns. "For Lunch I Ate" either Like a Horse or Like a Bird. Every time Aiden is Like a Horse. I told them well of course...doesn't look like he turns away food. He might steals other peoples food for a matter of fact. :-) The other column is "I Slept" either Like a Cat or Like a Rock. Every time Aiden is Like a Rock. That baby looooves his naps, except when Mommy is around lately. lol
His Teacher Comments is always "Such a good little helper and organizer." Yup, that's my boy alright. He is such a sweetie I could just eat him up!

Pampered Chef
Later this month I am hosting a Pampered Chef party. I will try to send as many cards out as I have addresses, but if you don't get one it doesn't mean you can't shop! :-) And you must send me your address so I can update my book.
If you click on the link and enter in my name "Allison" "Lambert" you can connect to my party and shop away!
ORDER ONLINEI won't go into alot of detail, because no one wants to hear that but this is the month where they have tons of new products. Amazing new products!
I am new to the Pampered Chef world after getting hand-me-downs and cheap items from Target/Walmart. And let me say I will never go back. Every product I have I love and use constantly! They make cooking so much easier and faster. Plus the products last so no need for replacing like you do with the cheap stuff.
If you are a busy mom like me then you MUST get the Deep Covered Baker Dish. This thing is AMAZING and WELL worth the money! Let's talk about a dinner staple. Baked Chicken. You preheat the oven at 350 wait 10+ minutes for it to warm up then cook another 30-40 minutes. Well how about only cooking it 15-20 minutes depending on your microwave setting. WHAT?! That cuts my time more than in half. I at first thought, oh it will be bad. Oh there's no way. Trust me it does! Magic!
Just put the chicken in add veggies, no water needed. Then a perfect healthy cooked meal. Now with all this extra time I can spend with my family instead of in front of a stove. :-) You can cook all types of meat in it too. Pulled Pork is amazing too!
Oh one more thing, for your men the Grill stuff is AMAZING! I'm getting the baskets this month, but we love the spatula and tongs, so heavy duty and long.
So go check out the website and if you have any questions about products just let me know. THANKS!!!!

Toddler
It's official. We have a toddler. No more "X" month clothes anymore. I had to do some spring cleaning of his closet yesterday and man does he have alot of Green and White now. lol.
Speaking of clothes the cold weather has returned. YAH! So guess I need to do some switching around and pull out his fall/winter clothes. This weekend I did hit up my fav consignment store to get him some new jackets and pants for this growing boy. Let me just say I love them, they will call me when they get something in stock they know I have been looking for. Like Dr. Seuss books. They got "Happy Birthday to You" and "Horton Hears a Who" in and called me instantly (They remembered me talking about the bday party I want to have). These were the large books that run for $15, which I got them for $3! I even scored him some new Cherokee jeans/brown pants $2.50 and two NICE jackets (one dressy and one casual) for $6 each. Nice thing is I didn't spend a cent of our paychecks thanks to my new business. Yah for that! :-) He loves the dressy one.
As you can see from this morning I didn't realize it was that chilly till after I got him dressed, so a jacket was going to have to do. But boy does he love being a "big boy" with his backpack and lunchbox. Love him!
Saturday was Wes' bday so after the Bama game we packed up and headed over to Gabby and Grande's for a nice meal and my wonderful cake. I wanted to make my infamous strawberry cake but Kroger didn't have Sugar Free white icing only chocolate. Boo! I was going to make the top of it look like a baseball with red icing. Oh well there is always next year. Being in the Bama spirit I even made Aiden a new preschool blanket. So cute!
First it was the clothes outgrown next it was the shoes. So Saturday morning me and Aiden packed up to find new shoes. Thankfully, Payless had alot of Wide shoes in stock or I was going to have to bit the bullet and go to Stride Rite. This little guy wears a 7 now! OMG! They even were having a special buy 1 get 1 half off. So we walked out of there with 2 shoes for $21. Score! One plain gray pair of tennis shoes. One white/navy pair of tennis shoes that lights up when he walks. He loves them! lol
Sunday when he napped I did a little project I've been wanting to do for awhile. Remove all Aiden's artwork from the frig and onto the wall. By just using a little picture wire and nails we have instant wall art surrounding the sliding glass door. Underneath the one corner we are putting a little kids table, but I'm not done with that yet.
Monday I would have gave anything for little man to nap....He probably only napped 20 minutes, and you could tell. He was cranky, emotional, and clumsy. So I pulled out his nap mat thinking that would help...that at least got him to sit down but nap not so much. We put him down at 6 and without a peep. Mommy and Daddy were so exhausted we went down shortly after too.
Hope everyone else had as great of a Labor Day weekend as we did!

Ch Cha Chan-Changes!
As everyone knows it has been very exciting times in the Lambert's household. Well we recently just had another change. Changing Daycare classrooms. My baby boy is growing up. In the Toddler 1 classroom and next the Potty Training classroom. AWWW! Too fast Too fast!
The first day they said he did pretty good for the 1st day. However, at home I knew he didn't sleep well because he was acting tired and fussy. So much that he went down at 6:20pm without a peep. And I woke him up this morning at 5:50am!! Geez boy!
Dropping him off today was not any better, he knew what was up and pouted and wouldn't walk in the door. So I swooped him up and then as I'm handing him to the teacher he holds onto my neck for dear life. I finally break free and what does he do?!?! Look at me like "Mommy! WHY!? I want to stay with you!!" and starts saying "Ma-Momma-Momma!" Breaks my heart. So I give him a kiss and tell him "You and me bud 3 days this weekend!" And he stops crying to a simple whimper and I'm off to work.
It took him about a week to adjust to his old teachers, so I'm hoping that's the case this time. However, he won't be the ladies man anymore. Going from a 2 boys - 4 girl ratio to 5 boys - 1 girl ratio. However, I'm happy because he needs to be around boys more. :-)
Maybe this afternoon I can sneak in a picture to show you how cute he is in his backpack. He LOVES wearing it now!
