If anyone knows Aiden he was addicted to his paci and took forever to let go. (cough cough we just got rid of them this year cough cough) haha Well Brody....hates them! As soon as you put one in he spits it right out. I mainly try in the morning when the bottle is warming and hes getting cranky and Aiden is still sleeping. Aiden needed it to soothe him....Brody can do it on his own. (Easy baby!)
So with that being said. I have decided to start letting him sleep in his room on his 3 month mark. I could move him in now, but I like having him close. This coming from the lady who lets Aiden sneak in our bed when Daddy's working.
--------------------------------------------------
All week Aiden has been helping me get things for his party in order. Can you believe he's going to be 3!!!???!! Man how time flies!! He is so excited and I'm excited for him and his little friends. I was just talking to his teachers how over the last 6 months hes become such a boy! If you look at pictures its even crazier!! Where's my baby!!!??? I love it and hate it all at the same time!

How most of our mornings go...breakfast on the run. Poor Brody braves that bright light! Hate leaving in the dark.

Elephants
When I came to my desk for the 1st time last week I had presents galore. My awesome old group showered little Brody. It was so thoughtful and sweet...wish I could see them more! (Different buildings, different side of town issues) Too bad all the clothes they got him he was already bigger than! haha they should have remembered I have big babies! So when I went to exchange them for larger sizes I came across this cute little outfit....I seriously can't say no to anything with an Elephant on it. So cute!! What size? oh just 9mo for my not even 2mo old baby! Can we say chunk!?
The other reason why I loved it was it's saying "I love my family"....normally its mommy, or daddy, or auntie, etc...but the fact it said family was perfect! And we love him.
Especially his big brother! Who finally got to see his Gabby and Grande after a week of being on lockdown. We were one sick house last week....Gabby went and picked him up early from school and I headed over to their house around 7 to get him. Let me tell you WILD MAN! So happy to see me and Brody! But this morning he wanted to go back instead of school. "I wanna go to Abby's! Not this way! Abbys house!" (He knows his directions!)
So all my pictures of lately have been of the boys being lazy or sleeping. It was really hard not giving Brody extra loving too! But I was determined to not get him sick, so I only held him during diaper changes and feedings. Otherwise he was in his napper or swing. Sad mommy!
Every room was stocked with tissue and hand sanitizer, which I was the Nazi of. Oh you touched your face...hands now! Poor Aiden fought a virus Sunday-Wednesday fevers up to 102. Then Thursday he was good, but shot up a fever again, so I took him to the doc because he was developing a bad cough. Ear infection and he was put back on steroids. Ugh! Why can't his lungs be strong like him! So we have to add steroids to his albuterol treatments twice a day till spring time (hello long treatments). Then if the doc doesn't see any improvement he's going to get labelled with Asthma and gets to have an inhaler.
We haven't done steroids in awhile and man did they mess with his tender nose. I went to check on him sleeping that 1st night and his face was COVERED in blood. Luckily I've seen it once before, but definitely makes you freak a little. His poor nose was bleeding. The picture doesn't do it justice since I didn't want to wake him with a flash.
Thought this picture was funny. It was after the doctor appt. It was my 1st time at the grocery store with both boys.....uhhhh where are the groceries suppose to go!?!? hahaha

Aiden Lately
Okay I couldn't post these funny videos on my phone. Post 4 of the day.
I swear Aiden is the funniest kid. Always keeps me on my toes. I'd be lost without him. He is the sweetest kid, but you have to watch out sometimes hes a brut.
Right now since I'm on a bunch of meds we are supplementing Brody, since I don't want to pass anything via breastmilk. So Aiden has been helping me make the bottles....so we sing a song...."Shake Shake Shake. Shake your booty. Shake your booty!"
Here he is being silly in the car. I have the camera flipped around so hes amazed how he can see himself. Who knows why he kept patting himself. Silly!
Here he is telling me that Brody is "wahhing!" lol Doesn't say cry.
Here he is being a dancing fool.
Kitchen Organized
Post 3 of the day. Go me!
This was the main headache. It's the most lived in space in our house, so of course it gets cluttered. So I have to make sure I apply the "Ice Cream Rule" in here! My cabinets housed so many things that I never used. Took me several days to get through here....but it's finished and MAN! I am SOOOOOO happy with the results! My Befores are kind of embarrassing but gives you the true sense of why it had to change! Such chaos!
I applied the "If I haven't used this in a year it's gone" method and if I had multiple of the same item reduce. (Please take in mind some of the Before pictures aren't housing everything....dishwasher and sink full.)
Kids Cabinet
I relocated the kid plates and minimized the number of sippy cups (if it was chewed on bad it was tossed). The top row is full of themed cups...which I couldn't part with just yet (Too cute and hey Brody will use them). I added a command hook on the door to house the label bands so they don't take up cabinet space.
Glasses Cabinet
How many coffee cups does one need?! I kept all the ones that match my Everyday China and a few of my favorite ones (aka the big guys!) I had to relocate the meds to the top shelf, because now the big guy stands on a chair to help Mommy and can reach the bottom shelf...its a pain it being that high, but I want to keep my family safe.
Plate Cabinet
For some reason I was still keeping my old plate set....not sure....but ever since we got married we never used them again...so why on earth was I keeping them?! So now I can store my Everday China serveware pieces at the top instead of the frequently used bottom shelves. (Haha as you can see from the Before image we are cereal eaters...lol all of them were either dirty in the sink or clean in the dishwasher)
Oven Cabinet
This cabinet was easy. I moved the wine goblets to my buffet where my nice china is. Then I got a small basket for my large spices and the liquids. I would have gotten rid of all my coozies (no one here drinks), but I know once I do for some odd reason we will need one...so I only kept 4 (had like 20 haha).
Frig Cabinet
This cabinet is just like the dead space cabinet. One perk of being tall is I can reach the things at the front, but the back I need a chair. So this was the perfect place to store my cookbooks and my large serveware pieces.
Dead Space Cabinet
This cabinet is the devil. Its hard to get things in and out and it's such a weird shape. I decided to store the blender down there to clear off the countertop. Then I placed all the party plates, napkins, and silverware in a bin. It's so clear and easy to see everything now.
Silverware Drawer
I got a new silverware organizer and LOOOVE it! It expands to fit the whole drawer. I reduced my number of food scissors to 2 and then got rid of my old silverware set.
Spice Drawer
Wow this before is embarrassing! Since I freed up some space in the silverware drawer some things moved into there. Then I organized all the spices by name.
Container Drawer
I love my deep drawers, but with things like containers it's a pain. But I reduced the number I had and tried to keep similar ones so it was easier to stack/store.
Pan Cabinet
This cabinet was the easiest! I basically moved all the flat pans to the drawer on the oven (muffin trays and cookie sheets). Everything fits perfectly and the bottom rack easily
This cabinet was hard to organize. I like how you can spin it to get to the back, but it's hard to find things to fit. This cabinet involved alot of reduction too.
Lower Lazy Susan Cabinet
This cabinet makes me so happy now since it's used so much! Same issues as the upper lazy susan cabinet, so I picked up several bins to accomplish this. Small green bins-holiday cookie cutters; sandwich cutters and random cookie cutters; and kid medical supplies (breathing masks, tubes, syringes, nose bulbs, etc)...these used to be all loose on the shelf (crazy and unorganized I know)! Black bins- breathing machine meds; and baby supplies (bibs, training sippy cups, snack cups, etc).
Utentsil Drawer
This drawer was already downsized, I was debating if I should get a drawer organizer...but I doubt it would make it look any better.

Bakeware Drawer
Here I did some major reduction. Seriously....5 baking dishes...really?! When I've only used max 2 at the same time. So I kept my 2 largest ones and a small one. Then how many mixing bowls...8! Really 8! Why on earth did I have so many...I kept 1 large one, my Everyday China large bowl, and a medium one. Now that I don't have so many bakeware dishes my hors doeuvres dishes fit in perfectly in my large baker.

Cleaning Cabinet
Didn't really do a lot here either. If it wasn't a cleaning product I use weekly it got moved to the garage cleaning stock pile. Then I reduced the number of cleaning rags.
