When I came to my desk for the 1st time last week I had presents galore. My awesome old group showered little Brody. It was so thoughtful and sweet...wish I could see them more! (Different buildings, different side of town issues) Too bad all the clothes they got him he was already bigger than! haha they should have remembered I have big babies! So when I went to exchange them for larger sizes I came across this cute little outfit....I seriously can't say no to anything with an Elephant on it. So cute!! What size? oh just 9mo for my not even 2mo old baby! Can we say chunk!?
The other reason why I loved it was it's saying "I love my family"....normally its mommy, or daddy, or auntie, etc...but the fact it said family was perfect! And we love him.
Especially his big brother! Who finally got to see his Gabby and Grande after a week of being on lockdown. We were one sick house last week....Gabby went and picked him up early from school and I headed over to their house around 7 to get him. Let me tell you WILD MAN! So happy to see me and Brody! But this morning he wanted to go back instead of school. "I wanna go to Abby's! Not this way! Abbys house!" (He knows his directions!)
So all my pictures of lately have been of the boys being lazy or sleeping. It was really hard not giving Brody extra loving too! But I was determined to not get him sick, so I only held him during diaper changes and feedings. Otherwise he was in his napper or swing. Sad mommy!
Every room was stocked with tissue and hand sanitizer, which I was the Nazi of. Oh you touched your face...hands now! Poor Aiden fought a virus Sunday-Wednesday fevers up to 102. Then Thursday he was good, but shot up a fever again, so I took him to the doc because he was developing a bad cough. Ear infection and he was put back on steroids. Ugh! Why can't his lungs be strong like him! So we have to add steroids to his albuterol treatments twice a day till spring time (hello long treatments). Then if the doc doesn't see any improvement he's going to get labelled with Asthma and gets to have an inhaler.
We haven't done steroids in awhile and man did they mess with his tender nose. I went to check on him sleeping that 1st night and his face was COVERED in blood. Luckily I've seen it once before, but definitely makes you freak a little. His poor nose was bleeding. The picture doesn't do it justice since I didn't want to wake him with a flash.
Thought this picture was funny. It was after the doctor appt. It was my 1st time at the grocery store with both boys.....uhhhh where are the groceries suppose to go!?!? hahaha
