Pictures

Aiden was so active this morning, so I put him in his jumperoo and he went to town! Amazing how strong his legs are. I swear he is going to be crawling soon! Very Soon!

After capturing those cute moments I began taking his 3 months pictures. I wanted to take some in his play outfit and his dressy one....well needless to say I got one of those :-) He was sooo over taking pictures by the time the dressy outfit was put on.

However, I did FINALLY take a picture with his famous bubble making. He does it more and more these days. So cute!

After changing his clothes, I let him be naked boy for his nap time. Caught him drooling. Mr. McDrooly!

Show Us Your LIfe - Your Kid's (or future kid's) names

Saw this on Allison's blog, so I thought I would share my story about our sweet little boy's name.

Aiden Mitchell

Starting with the First Name: Aiden. Wes had always wanted that name since we started thinking about boy names. I liked it because it was Irish (I'm Irish), but I also wanted to keep looking. After months of looking at names I just knew we had to go with our guts and go with the 1st name: Aiden. It was too perfect and different. It was up between Aiden and Jackson, however since it was a boy I thought it would be best to go with what Wes wanted. The next kid is all mine though :-)
Middle Name: Mitchell. We had been thinking forever for a middle name for Aiden. Probably up till the last 3 weeks. I wanted it to be Aiden Taylor, yes ATL lol, but one of Wes' good friends who had her baby in Sept named hers that. So that was out of the picture.....Needless to say we ended up with Mitchell. That is Wes' dads middle name too. So it was good middle name I'd have to say so. Funny part is now Aiden has my initials. AML (Aiden Mitchell Lambert & Allison McDanal Lambert) Too cute huh?!!

I am thinking more of the 2-3 years till our next one. Gotta leave enough time in there to have some quality time with Aiden.

If it's a BOY, which I think it will be. I like the following First Names. I haven't picked out Middle Names yet.

1)Mason
2)Conner
3)Jackson

No real reason for the names, but I like to stick with Irish or Southern names.

If it's a GIRL. I do have the Middle name picked out, even though Wes' doesn't know it yet.

1)Emma Hazel
2)Sophie Hazel

The reason behind the middle name. I would use it has a first name, but it's a little too old fashion for my taste. However, it is my sweet grandmother's name. Mudder. She passed away this past December. It was probably the hardest thing to go through especially prego. Hormones went crazy!!! I still wish she could have met Aiden, but I know she's looking over him from heaven. I was EXTREMELY close with Mudder and would stay and look after her when I was in college. She taught me so much and I still miss her daily.

3 months!

I can't believe it but yesterday Aiden turned 3 months!!!!

Oh lord how time flies! I am going to take his 3 month pictures this weekend, so update then too.

Weight- 20 lbs
Height- 25 inches
Size 3 diapers
6-9 mo clothes

Likes:
*Smiling! He's almost to the point where he can laugh-ADORABLE
*Watching mommy cook in his high chair
*Falling asleep in his swing, still
*LOVES LOVES his lion charm that plays music
*His toy that makes crinkly paper noises
*When mommy and daddy play with him
*LOVES being outside, whenever he is fussy I just pick him up and take him out and hes happy
*When Murphy licks his hands and face
*Sitting up like a little man

Dislikes:
*His vitamin drops
*When he's awake and no ones paying attention to him
*When you pull his hand out of his mouth, I just don't want him to be a thumbsucker
*When Grande holds him. It's hilarious he always cries lol it's getting better though
*When you lay him down on his back when you are sitting upright. He wants to sit like us now
*Getting his nails clipped
*When mommy gets up for work and leaves

I'm still not sleeping in my bed in my room that well, but I hope to get better this month.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I have the best family and friends!

I received the best phone calls and cards from the ones I love. I couldn't have asked for anything better, especially since I had a horrible day at work. Definitely put a smile on my face!

Well I have already posted about what I had gotten with some birthday money, but I didn't post about the longed for and most needed gift of all. Slippers! lol You truly know you are getting old when you get excited about Slippers. But believe it or not it's hard finding ones that work. But I found them $11 at Walmart with rubber soles! PERFECT!

After work I went over to my sweet in-laws where they cooked steak, YUM!, and my sister-in-law made me a cake. So sweet! Then we watched House. My kind of a birthday. Surrounded by people I love and strawberry cake and laying on the couch. Heaven! I loved my gift Regina and Steve got me. It's a cute necklace with the letter A engraved on sterling silver. Wearing it today :-)

Turning 25 couldn't have gone any better! :-)
