Patterns

16 months
A little early but I have his stat since we went to the doctor yesterday. What a good visit that was until shot time came! Polio, Chicken Pox, Hib, and TB screening :( Poor little guy was SCREAMING and fighting soo hard. He almost kicked the lady in the head! Oops! So what happens while we wait for his doctor...A LOT!
Stats:
Height: 33 inches (We've grown!!)
Weight: 30.1 pounds
Back down to Size 4 diapers, because they fit better.
24M clothes (Like the stability in clothes!)
Milestones:
*Learned to maneuver his ride-ons to go around corners instead of going straight toward walls.
*Learned to put toys away....well let me clarify. If he see something always go back a certain way then he will practice. For example, my parents got him a toy toolbox, and he has learned those pieces go back in the container. He's learned to lift the lid and place them in and shut the lid. GOOD JOB!! Now if he could learn building blocks do not belong on the floor we would be GOLDEN! haha
*Practiced using a spoon for the first time and did great!
*Getting more independent if that is even possible when exploring new places.
*No new words...just only says Momma, but give him time and he will be a talking machine. I think he's just shy that's all.
Eating Pattern:
Definitely is getting picker by the day. We give him options and try to balance it as much as possible....but still I'm never happy. So morning it's fruit, yogurt, or cheerios. Lunch-whatever daycare provides and on weekends we eat sandwiches, chicken nuggets, crackers and deli meat. I try to push protein here. For dinner, either chicken nuggets if he didn't eat them for lunch and veggies and fruit. He tends to not eat much for dinner. Because dinner is normally around 6 and he's honestly too tired for it. 2 6 oz bottles of milk still.
Sleeping Pattern: 6:30pm to 7am....he has been sleeping in a lot lately. I think it's because he's growing. Tired little baby!
Likes:
*Animal crackers
*Sitting down in children's chairs. (He gets so proud and is like Mommy look at me!!)
*Throwing the ball to Murphy (Each day his throw gets further and further...I think we have a baseball player)
*Being held up in the air like he's flying
*Being outside...except now when we do he turns BRIGHT red because of the heat. So we come prepared with two sippy cups because he's a little drinker!
Dislikes:
*When he is having a Mommy craving and she doesn't pick me up immediately. Regardless if things are in her hand or not.
*When Mommy blocks me from going to see Daddy and Grande when they are burning limbs. I sit my butt down and pout.
*When water shoots him in the face from the sprinkler or when Daddy dumps water with no ease on my head in the bathtub.
So what happens by the end of the doc visit. Someone bumps their head on the stool because they are a clumsy baby like mommy and gets a Boo Boo. See the red spot? Like Mother Like Son. haha That's my boy alright!

Tractor Fun
These pictures were taken earlier this month, but better late than never! This was after Grande got his new lawn mower and Uncle Tyler took the kids around in the trailer part. Yes, he was going EXTREMELY slow and the blades weren't going. Don't freak! :-) Good quality fun with his cousins. Aiden loved it and sat still in amazement! So cute!!!
Memorial Weekend
Why does it seem like the long weekends go by the fastest...I was spoiled being home with my baby for so long. Tuesday was hard to return, but I did it!
Most the weekend we spent relaxing enjoying our time together, but I did squeeze in some holiday sale shopping. Perfect time to get Wes' father's day gift and some swim attire for myself and Wes. YAH!! How many days left?!?! Can I survive? This is a MUCH needed vacation! I just can't wait to see everyone! And I know Aiden is beyond excited too if he could tell me :-)
Monday we went over to Chris and Steve's house for a fish fry. Always love being around her family. And let me say this....Aiden loved it too! By the end of the day when we were eating my banana pudding he was going up to anyone who had a plate trying to get some. He loves him some banana pudding! Mommy did good! :-)
However, he is still SUCH a momma's boy! Kept following me everywhere! He doesn't get the concept of when I hand you to daddy that doesn't mean we are playing hide and seek. Because sure enough a few minutes later I will hear those little feet heading my way. And of course I'm a softy and give him a big hug everytime because how could you turn away that adorable face when he has his arms wide open and smiling while running to you. I just can't do it!
So I end with some picture we took before we left for the Yates. Aiden was over pictures by the time I took Wes'. "Let me down daddy, I'm outside!"
