We have shoes

Today was such a fun, busy day!

1st stop. Shoe shopping for the little man. SUCCESS!!! We finally found shoes to fit his chubby little feet. 4.5 EXTRA WIDE! OMG! But totally worth it, since we had 40 degree weather today. I think Aiden even liked them, didn't fuss at all when I put them on. However, with these special needs means the shoes cost more. UGH! But if they make Aiden safe and warm, then it's TOTALLY worth it! I highly recommend anyone with fat feet babies go to Stride Rite. Adorable shoes

After a successful trip we came home Aiden took an hour nap then we were off to Alex's Eagle Scout celebration. It was fun to see everyone, even Uncle Joey and Aunt Pam came in town from Nashville. Uncle Mark and Aunt Lynn were so proud of Alex. So cute! Plus Wes' grandfather and Nancy got to see Aiden awake. lol Since they came over on Friday during a nap time. Once that was over we came home for another nap from 3pm-6pm. WOW little man was WORN OUT! At least he was looking adorable and ready for the cold weather at the celebration.

Once he woke up we headed over to Gabby and Grande's to hangout with everyone, plus our nieces Lily and Harlee. Man, does Harlee talk a lot. It scared Aiden, he would pout then cry then look up at me to hold him. He was still sleepy...so he was a little out of it. We just got back a few minutes ago and put Aiden to bed, so I'm exhausted. BUSY DAY! So I end with a picture I caught of little man from Friday looking adorable as ever. Sweet dreams!

Side Note: While Aiden was taking his afternoon nap I ran to Dollar Tree to pick up some wrapping paper and tissue....yes I am wrapping Christmas presents. haha I picked up the cutest ornaments!! Everyone should go! So now I have an excuse to finally put up my "Wicked" ornament in the attic. So, glad I got that ornament to always remind me of our 1 year anniversary.

9 months!

Guess who is 9 months?!?!?! Aiden!!!

Stats:
Height: 29 inches (I must have miss measured last month at home)
Weight: 26 pounds (no weight gain! yah! being more mobile helps)
Size 4 Diapers
18-24 months clothes

Sleeping pattern: 8pm-7am...except when we have guests. If he knows people are here you can forget about bed time. UGH!
Eating pattern: 5-5 oz bottles, and 2 of the large gerber jars. We are in stage 3 and OHH does it love it! Spaghetti, chunky chicken, and broccoli & cheese are his favs. He is getting sooo good at picking up food too (any fruit, green beans, puffs, goldfish, corn, etc).

Milestones:
*starting using our sippy cup daily...once I feel like he's comfortable we will switch his formula over in them instead of the baby bottles.(His faces are priceless...he is only drinking half water/apple juice, but you swear it was whiskey. haha)
*Standing
*Couch walking....the doc things he will be walking by christmas...scary!!

No new teeth, but he's just recently starting back the drooling 24-7 so I'm guessing there's some about to sprout.

Likes:
*His pack n play! He just loooves standing in it.
*His soft pack n play sheets. He sometimes wants to sleep there instead of his bed.
*Anything to do with Murphy.
*Taking showers with Mommy.
*Relaxing on the couch with Mommy and Daddy.

Dislikes:
*When Mommy comes home and doesn't pick me up automatically.
*When I'm sleepy, but not cooperating and going to sleep.
*When Mommy and Daddy won't let me do what I want.
*Putting on clothes. It could take 5 minutes, but since I fight it takes about 10 minutes.

Pictures to come. Won't happen this weekend, because Wes' grandfather is in town so busy weekend. Yah! Tomorrow is Alex's Eagle Scout celebration, and time to go shoe shopping for little man. I MUST find shoes that fit his chubby little legs. UGH!!

Side note: We closed today!!!! YAHHH!!! The one good thing about the refinancing we are paying less now for a bigger, updated home than when we were in an apartment. CRAZY! Like $200 less. Exciting news! We are so blessed. Thankful everyday. Other news we are starting to install our bathroom vanity. Love it so far, post pictures when it's finished.

Videos

Short post. Aiden's 9 month appt is tomorrow, so I'll have updates then. So goodnight and enjoy these videos I shot the other day. LOVE YOU!

New Layout

Now that Halloween is long and gone the layout had to be updated. I had to step away from work for a minute...so overwhelmed ALLLLLLLLL day. If I get one more call I'm gonna scream. The things that break just baffle me, they work for months then all the sudden the system decides it doesn't want to do it this month. UGH! Is it 5pm yet? I've been so busy with break/fix issues that I haven't even began to attempt my project work. My deadlines are this Friday...

On a different note, now begins the season of being thankful. I know Thanksgiving is a brushed over holiday it seems these days, but we should all take a moment and look at everything around them and be thankful because we are all blessed. Be happy for what you are provided and don't have selfish thinking of wanting more.

I am thankful for my family, without them I would be so incomplete. I got to thinking about it after hearing a song. I don't know if my hormones are going crazy today or if this song really touched me that much...I'd say hormones! I just thought of Aiden when I heard it and I kinda teared up. Definitely the hormones now :-)

"Your little hand's wrapped around my finger
And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eyelids flutter cause you're dreaming
So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny
You got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have, honey
If you could stay like that

Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up
Just stay this little
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up
It could stay this simple
I won't let nobody hurt you
Won't let no one break your heart
And no one will desert you
Just try to never grow up
Never grow up..."

*Taylor Swift "Never Grow Up"

You can hear the song here.
