Sweet Findings

The one good thing about having a Pottery Barn outlet is all the sweet deals I can find!!

I like to go every few months just to check out the deals. And I'm glad I went today!!

I found some cute Eric Carle Very Hungry Caterpillar cups and a plate we will use during Aiden's party. They were all $1.50 each. Awesome! And I'd been wanting to get Aiden some more "kid size" plastic cups to use since we are starting to break from the sippy cup.

Then the most exciting part. They had their Elf on the Shelf Tabletop stuff there. Ah! Well I only got the placemat, since I already have a Christmas plate and cup. Originally $26 for 4. Online Sale for $15. Outlet $2 for 1!! That is my kinda savings!!! Can't wait to use it next year for the elf's arrival and all holiday season!.....Oh and yes I went ahead and bought another one! Might not get the chance to get this good of a deal! (And no I'm not preggo! Just implying we will eventually have another one)

I love this time of year, but hate it at the same time. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dead at work. Due to everyone checking in and out and year-end freeze. Remind me why I have to come in the office again?! But tonight is my Polar Express party!!!!! YAH!! Post to come!

Babies

It's that time of year...Babies! Some of my dear friends just had another little bundle. Jacob will soon be bff with Aiden just like his older bro, Conner. Can't wait to go to the hospital tomorrow and hold him! I've been waiting along time! :-) This picture makes me want to cry. Beyond adorable!

Then some of our other dear friends just found out the are preggo with their #1!!!! MORE than excited for them, because we've been talking about parenthood/marriage with them for a few months. I'll keep my fingers crossed they have a boy first. :-) Or if they have a girl I see us planning our kids wedding. haha They are going to be great parents!

Kids Photo Shoot 2011

Everyone knows taking pictures of kids is difficult, especially when there is more than one. Try five! That's what my mother-in-law was trying to do...all kids in one picture which kinda turned out like this....so many emotions

Harlee wanted NOTHING to do with the pictures. Aiden kept laughing at her (surprisingly he was quite amazing that day). In the end Regina went with individual pictures that turned out precious too!

Events

K I feel horrible but I did not take one single picture of our Tacky Sweater party food! I tried so many things I found on Pinterest. Everyone approved so I will share links.

And man that party was SOOOOOOOOO much fun! However we are not party animals everyone was gone before midnight and I was up by 7am. PARTY! haha Everyone looked great...maybe I can steal a few pictures from Miss Brit later.

Mine turned out Green and became Reindeer Food. :-)

Don't use black piping gel if you don't want black teeth. Red Velvet Cake for the inside.

The hit of the night!! I made red and green!

Don't but Blueberry Vodka in.....Hear that Beans?!?

The ladies from my group get together every month for a ladies lunch so this month it was an ornament swap and lunch at Firebirds. Such a good group! Two were missing due to meetings boo! I got a pretty cross ornament that goes perfect for my rustic tree.

Last Thursday after work myself, Aiden, and my dear friend Erica packed up and headed over to Shelby Farms for Starry Nights, a drive-through light show. Shelby Farms is AMAZING and this event helps keep it up, so of course we were game! IP is one of the sponsors and our light exhibit was AMAZING!!!! Our section had us driving through the trees and there were thousands of stars and angels everywhere sooo beautiful!

However, it was QUITE scary at the beginning. There was suppose to be lights around the road to help guide you, because you only have your parking lights on. Well......they were out. so I didn't know if I was going off the road and heading into a tree or a lake or another car. SOOO scary! But eventually they were lit and we were on our way.

At the end there was a Mistletoe Village where you can meet Santa. Man....Aiden wanted NOTHING to do with him and was trying to slide out of his arms. lol The only way he would focus is if I got in the sleigh so the lady could take the picture (excuse my hand in the photo). So funny! Then afterwards Aiden was giving him the "Hey mister I'm watching you. You better stay there." look. Me and Erica were dying. Priceless!

Next Friday I'm throwing a Polar Express party for the little kids in the family (pics to come). Then Saturday we are heading up to Bass Pro Shop for another try at Santa.
