Gates Open

I forgot to load my pictures from this weekend, so look for another post tomorrow.

This might be a little TMI, but remember when I was complaining about nausea? Well that gate is officially open now. I have to brush my teeth 3 times in the morning and throughout the day. The only time when I'm not puking is at night time. Smells and sights set me off now. LOVELY! And you know that one food that doesn't set me off....which is SOOOO weird. Mexican. Yeah the spicer the better.

The other day all I ate was 2 tacos...I was doing good eating egg whites in the AM. gone by 8:50. Crackers around 10. gone by 10:50. Taco at 11:30. stayed in. Grapes at 2:30. gone by 3. Broccoli salad and salmon at 5. gone by 5:30. Don't even get me started during work times....omg....the smells.....being near the break room and surrounded by people eating all different types of food. Needless to say I am talking to myself constantly "Don't throw up. Don't throw up. Distraction. Omg!." Thank goodness the bathroom is right outside my cube row. I'm just constantly drinking water to contain it, which makes me pee so much! Lose Lose situation.

To add to that misery....I am definitely carrying this baby higher. Like right at my belly button and right above. Which makes buttoning pants misery. My pants fit but it's just uncomfortable, which makes me nauseous even more...so I decided skirts, dresses it is. I have some early maternity pants up in the attic that I'll get Wes to pull down this weekend. So wishing at times like these I could wear yoga pants to work instead of business casual. Ha!

Well I better go eat something before I hurl....

Bonus: For those other Elmo loving kids...here is a link for free music with personalization!

Flowers

It's safe to say I'm obsessed with hydrangeas....and guess what?!?! I finally have them in my yard!!! YAH!!!!!! I am so excited but sooo sooo sore right now. That was some back breaking work right there. Thank goodness the other flowerbed is already prepped. Removing the grass....never again! I wore gloves and still have blisters.

One thing I did discover while digging...we have great soil! So many earthworms....and bricks?!?! FML! WHO the heck buries bricks?!?!?!?! I thought after removing that brick flowerbed I was done. Not again!!! Complete misery! Job took a lot more work and effort than expected. Putting down the yard fabric pins were horrible because I kept hitting bricks. Ouch!

I got some gorgeous brown mulch...which within 5 minutes of laying it down Wes ran the lawn mower right by and got grass clippings all in it. UGH! So even more work because out came the rack. I let this time slide but I told him if he does it again it's all him buddy!

I wanted to line the bed with something....monkey grass maybe....but Lowes nor the nursery by my house had any. So I just decided to go with the next best thing. Bricks. Haha ironic right?!

The plants seem so small right now, only 3 gals, but I know they will grow up fast and big. Ekk can't wait!!

The other bed will probably be finished next month! Haha I need a loooong break!

Time Off

Yeah buddy! I just got the best email from my HR rep. I had to notify her that I'm expecting so I can get the paperwork rolling.
How much time off at 100% pay?!?!?!?! 10 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah buddy! Last time I only got 6 weeks and it was tough going back that soon. I was still recovering from my c-section and still sleep deprived. haha

Couldn't have planned it any better because it's pretty much during our year-end freeze months, so I won't have mounds of work when I return. Also, pumped because I'm not so sure how hard it will be to recover from this one. I hear it's tougher with the 2nd c-section and ontop I'm getting my tubes tied. Not sure if the tube procedure will affect me the fact when I asked my doctor and his response was....ehhh it shouldn't....didn't give me much confidence. haha So I'm glad I have that extra time.

Counting down till the weekend.....going to the zoo!

Furniture

Baby 2 has furniture now!
Wes was kinda like Wow that's a green dresser! haha It makes sense because the walls are so neutral and once I showed him the fabric it made sense. It works for both boy and girl! Seeing stuff in the room hits home we are going to have another little one running around very soon...eeek!

Aiden wanted to get in the crib and I told him "No it's for baby." response "Ohh Baby" as he walked away. haha He wants nothing to do with anything baby because he is a BIG boy! But he will forever be my baby!
We still don't know what we want to do with the other side. Chair or bookshelf. Decisions. I did decide the color brown we want to use for the tree. Cowboy Boots. haha love it! I'm just really glad the "big decisions/projects" are done. Now I can spend the remaining 7 months getting the decor done. Plenty of time and something I can do being very pregnant. haha

Side note: Aiden is still fighting this mysterious rash...it's all over but looks MUCH better (Next post). He's okay but being in house arrest is so hard for him. When all he wants is to be outside with Daddy. We even had to miss Daddy's 1st baseball game. Boo!

I personally think it's the same rash Wes got after he cut the grass for the 1st time of the season. Looks and acting the same. But we still don't know what caused that. Pollen? I just hope it goes away soon!

Tomorrow we go back to the doc to see the baby!!! Yah! We are so excited! Speaking of baby I'm doing much better. Jaw isn't hurting anymore and the nausea has calmed down. That B6 has helped alot. Double Yah!!

We did have a new addition to our household. A spankin new riding lawn mower. Our other one was a hand-me-down from Wes' parents after they got their new one. It worked but didn't go fast at all and the belt would constantly fall off, but it worked. Wes was happier with that than his push mower on our arce lot, but we knew eventually we would have to get one of our own. So we've been saving up and hit it right at the peak of deals.

We got another John Deere and omg so fast!! Puts the other one to shame. Took him no time at all to cut the grass. Plus we got a 3 year service package that if we have any issues they will come to our house to fix it. Big perk! Hopefully we won't ever have to use it though. But the thing I love most about it is....now Wes can spend his weekend time with us rather than cutting the grass! Well worth the $$

Next weekend we are planting our hydrangeas!!! YAH!!!! SO SO SO excited! My front yard will FINALLY be presentable! I want to find a cute little 2 seat cafe table to put in the front too so I can sit and read while Aiden colors the sidewalk. Pictures to come...
