Brothers

I've been slacking with my blog. So much has happened lately..I'll try and work on it over my long weekend. YAH for long weekends!!!
This post is going to be a sweet one. When I say I'm lucky. I mean it! Best boys ever! They are both so sweet and caring even if Aiden is sometimes bratty he will quickly apologize. And man Aiden is the BEST big brother ever!! Can't say it enough.
We now have a new nightly routine by Aiden giving Brody his bedtime bottle. Those two just eat each other up just smiling, giggling, and loving each other. Just doesn't get any cuter!
Over the past month Aiden has been BEGGING for Brody to sleep in his room. Well.....we made the change last night. Might be my best decision ever! We put Brody down at 8pm. Aiden gave him a big kiss and went out to watch his last show before his bedtime. I was busy packing bags, lunches, and making bottles. Next it was Aiden's turn. Went down without a fight!! Never got out of bed once and was quiet getting into bed. "Brody's sleeping Mommy. Shhhh"
 The boys room
The playroom
Both were sound asleep all night. Heaven.
hehe I'm sure Wes LOOOVES this pic, but shows one boy always sneaking in bed while I get ready in the morning
Gabby and Grande have a new toy at MeeMaws thanks to Bella's dad and Aiden is in love.  A trampoline!!! This kid is a jumping machine!! Just like Brody in the jumper.
 I wanna jump!!
Lastly do not leave your phone unattended around Aiden. I ended up with several pics like this and about 30 of the ceiling....that I had to delete one by one.....ugh!
Sneak peep into the weekends activities.....And there was a WATER FIGHT!!!!! Still have 2 more bags to blow up and sneak in a couple shaving cream filled balloons....

Honest Company

I've been meaning to make this post, but if you noticed from Brody's 5 mo pictures he was sporting a very cute butt that day. ;-) Thanks to Honest Company!
I am HIGHLY impressed with every product I've tried. You can get a trial of both lines for only $5.95 (shipping and handling).

The baby line includes: travel size wipes; Sample pack of diapers (7)
The essentials line includes: laundry detergent (1 load); travel size of Shampoo & Body Wash, Butt Cream, Face & Body lotion, and Hand Soap.

I fell in love with their Shampoo and Body Wash when receiving it with our Citrus Lane subscription, and everything else smells just as YUMMY! I don't use it as shampoo because of my psoriasis, but I do use it as body wash, but both boys use it.

I was really interested in their diapers, since my sensitive skin baby started developing rashes caused by his Pampers Sensitives. No butt paste would heal it. And after 1 day of switching to these diapers with no butt paste it was gone! I was SOLD! (Really dreading the thought of having to switch to cloth diapers....don't know if my sensitive nose could take that. haha) Happy baby= Happy mommy!!

The nice thing about the Essentials Bundle its only $35.95 a month. You can choose whatever 5 products you want. AWESOME! Last month I received $56.75 worth of products for only $36 bucks! Awesome!
  • Fruit/Veggie Wash- Since I now juice every day for breakfast I use this instead of vinegar to wash because I don't like the vinegar aftertaste. Def recommend!
  • Laundry Pods- Haven't tried yet since I still have some Tide Clean and Clear left, but I did like the trial sample. Just like Clean and Clear, no smell just clean.
  • Dishwasher Pods- I'm a big fan of pods. Easy to load and no mess. These get the job done.
  • Conditioner- Smells just as yummy as the Shampoo. Leaves Aiden's hair feeling great after a bath. Def recommend!
  • Bug Spray- As you know me and Aiden are highly allergic to mosquito bites (hope Brody doesn't get this curse!), and I HATE to spray bug spray on Aiden bc of the chemicals and the smell. We used a ThermaCELL last summer, but that thing was too bulky and Aiden always wanted to take the box off. I haven't seen too many mosquitoes yet, but in due time. But the smell is SOOOO much better! We will see how effective it is in about a month. TBD
Next month I'm ordering: Bug Spray (That way we have 1 for our house and 1 for Gabby and Grande's); Bubble Bath; Floor Cleaner; Sunscreen; and Organic Lip Balm Trio. $53.76 value for $35.95

Now for the Diapers Bundle its only $79.95 a month. You get 4 packs of wipes ($4.95 each- 70 count) and # of diapers depends on the size. We are in size 3 so that's 216 diapers. You can pick out 6 different patterns. I loooove the skull, hippo, and Lumberjack. Cutest butt around. Leaving the diapers at $0.28 each. I definitely don't use 4 packs of wipes each month maybe 2, so the extra 2 get thrown in the car and diaper bag. (Travel size wipe containers I think are SILLY because they only include like max 20 and what if you have an EXPLOSION?! A couple times in a row. 20 wipes won't cut it. haha!)

Right now with my Amazon discount I get diapers at $0.24 each, so it's not THAT big of a different. Just 4 cents. And it keeps Brody's butt clear and I don't have to switch to cloth...so I will take it!! Wipes I'm paying more too $0.02 for Pampers and $0.07 for these, but these are alot sturdier than Pampers so it takes less during use.
This month they threw in a sweet card and a thank you extra. One of their Lip Balms...Amazing! Smells so good and it lasted too. Even Wes commented on liking it, so you know it's good then ;-) I got the Sweet Orange Vanilla (but sold in a 3 pack)
Nice packaging too, reminded me of Vera Bradley's shipping. Yes I would comment on this since I do work for a paper company. haha ;-) When I received the items I was actually home so I spoke with my mailwoman and she was like "Dang you get alot of boxes." hahahaha I guess I do, because I order all my essentials (laundry, diapers, wipes, pull-ups, diaper pail bags, formula, etc.) If it's bulky I order it.
  1. Saves me money (subscriptions; free shipping, no driving so no gas $ spent)
  2. Saves me the hassle of trying to remember what I need (mommy brain)
  3. Shopping for bulky items with 2 boys isn't going to happen with 1 cart
  4. One less thing I have to worry about because I know the 1st week of the month everything is arriving on my doorstep.
As my parents say. We have it so easy these day ;-) I might have to agree! haha

Rearrage

Post 2 of the day!
I have discussed putting the boys in the same room and worried the room wasn't big enough for 2 twin beds. Well after shifting Aiden's room around I'm happy to report it is! YAH!! Told Aiden why I was moving his bed and he's like "YAH! Brody's going to sleep there?!" Pointing to the open spot...."well not yet he's too Small." "Awww not yet. He's too Small. But why?" So now every night I'm asked if Brody is big enough to sleep in in his room.
Excuse the messy bed...taken right after naptime.
Some things will move into the "Playroom" when the big switch occurs.
Also, made an update to Brody's room. Aiden wanted to hang the "pom balls, that look like cake" So I broke down and did it. Such a silly kid
Also haven't posted about my other Birthday gifts I received. Rents gave me $$ which turned into clothing purchases. One good thing about my bday, right before Mother's Day so lots of sales. I racked up at JcPennys (mailed a $10 off coupon and extra 20% off their marked down prices)! I am such a mom haha most of the items were Liz Claiborne. (links included)(Also my store prices were lower than the online prices too)

The last top I couldn't find, probably bc it was a clearance item but its a cream tank with a high neck that has coral jewel stones around the neck and down the buttons and stops mid waist. Very pretty and reserved. Such a mom! haha

Wes' parents gave me some jewelry (earrings and necklace) which I adore! I love me some mint and Sorrelli! Most my jewelry purchases come from there now. Always get compliments on them. (Plus I love their Lifetime Guarantee)
Lastly a photo dump.
