Man I think Memphis is in a tornado zone. They have started back up, and of course they always hit at bedtime. Thanks for making Aiden WIDE awake at 9pm. Appreciate that! Not! We have all extremes in weather....tornadoes, humidity, snow, ice, etc. Very weird. Speaking of snow, Aiden can't wait for the "bubbles" to come back this year. haha
On another subject. I am now experiencing another new thing in this pregnancy. I seriously can't wait to have my body back. I can handle a lot but this one is seriously testing my boundaries and I hate that I'm not really enjoying it. One minute I'm fine, the next I'm in so much pain I can't move. That's the hardest part not being able to do things I normally can (the stubborn part of me pushes myself sometimes too hard).
So what is it? Might be TMI. Well...I'm getting these weird rashes under my boobs. They have gotten huge this time around and with my belly so huge and starting so high on my torso there is alot of skin to skin action when I sit down. My doc thinks it might be because of friction or a heat rash. Either way Ouch! So if you catch me at home I'm definitely resting with my arms under there to get some air flow. haha Nice image huh?!
Today was not a fun day. Aiden kept me and him up all night coughing starting at about 12am. So he stayed home from preschool so I could start up breathing treatments. Needless to say working remotely and caring for a sleepy, whiny kid is HARD work. Think my legs are permanently numb from him laying all over me. But then by 1pm and his second treatment he didn't show any signs of improvement. The cough was constant, no fever, and the nose was watering so I knew this was something new.
So off we went to the doctor when Daddy got home. He did great during the exam....until it was time for his xray. Mommy wasn't allowed in, so of course he was in a panic. Took 3 people to hold him down!! Told you my kid is a man child, he is SO strong! Nothing worse than hearing him scream bloody murder and not being able to do anything about it. So we got the verdict. Croup.
Poor little guy always having respiratory issues. So no school tomorrow and we are on steroids, humidifier, and breathing treatments if he starts wheezing instead of just coughing. He passed out on the way home and slept till 8pm and of course he's back up when I'm trying to wind down...uggghhhhh so exhausted! Tomorrow is going to be a long day I can already feel it, but maybe he will be able to take his nap.....
