Consignments

Post 3 of the day!
I love consignments sales! This year I participated selling for the first time. It was alot of work, but I know what to do next time, so it should go smoother. I am shooting to raise enough to get a Kinect, so I can workout at home when no one can watch the boys. Plus I'll get some fun games (Just Dance or Disney) that Aiden can do with me and still will be active on those days we can't go outside.

Since I am selling I got to shop before everyone else. Yeah! What was my mission? Get Aiden a spring/summer wardrobe. Why? Because last spring/summer he was in 2T....this year?! 4T / 5T. That kid has shot up!!!! And let me tell you this momma did GREAT! It was sad however to see in this size you can't get cute applique and smocked jon jons!
Aiden's loot
  • 10 T shirts (all Children's Place, OshKosh, or Gymboree)
  • 3 collared shirts (all Children's Place)
  • 4 shorts (all Children's Place, Circo, or Gymboree)
  • Swim Trunks (Children's Place)
  • Rainboots (Carters...a size to big, 12, but I figured with socks they would fit perfect. I could hardly get him to take them off last night and is wearing them to school today.)
  • Sandals (Stride Rite)
  • Tennis Shoes (Stride Rite)
  • Kinect Sports Game
  • Cars 2 Blue ray and DVD

Brody's loot (Yes, I couldn't not get him anything)
  • Deer picture
  • 3 long sleeve onesies (Carters)
  • 1 Short sleeve onesie & pants outfit (Carters)
  • 1 T shirt (Children's Place....it was elephants I couldn't say no and only $2)
  • 1 jumper (OshKosh)
  • 1 applique jon jon

Even found their Easter outfits. Aiden's old Easter outfit was 3mo and well....Brody is in 6-9 now. It's a little anti-Easter (no eggs, bunny, or chicks), but I loved the colors and thought Easter outfit immediately. Best part? It was only $7. Then I found Aiden a matching collared shirt. Here is hoping I get some good pictures.
But my best purchase? Tag Reader. I saw it when I was dropping off my stuff Sunday, so I bee-lined for it when they opened the doors. Aiden has the Tag Junior right now and loves it, so I knew this purchase would be coming soon.

Loot:
  • Green Tag Reader
  • Storage Case
  • 6 books (3 brand new)

Let me expressed how good I did...I paid $142 for EVERYTHING (Clothes, toys, shoes, etc). If I would have bought all the Tag items in the store it would have been $140. So see how excited and why I love these things. I love deals! I hope everyone loves my deals so I can get a Kinect sooner. lol Already used my "free" money on new shoes.
