Why are the longest days the days it rains. I remember the days when I could sleep in on a rainy day...now I wake up to Aiden staring me in the face and shouting "HEY Momma! You're up!" hmmmm not really but I guess I am now. All the while I'm wonder how long has he been standing there.....
One good thing about rainy days it equals to pjs all day. No shower most the time, might not want to visit me ;-) and straight up being LAZY! Well that's awesome when daddy's home. Not so awesome when it's just me. Aiden is just SO full of energy it wears me down and not being able to go outside is AWFUL! All he wants to do is play outside (even in the rain) and explaining to him that we could go out but Brody can't is like explaining the law of physics. Doesn't understand one bit. *insert whining*
With the no escaping equals boredom. I actually finished all my chores early this Saturday so I was sitting on the couch reading while Aiden was waiting tv and dancing. So I was recording to show Wes, who was sleeping since he had to work that night. I forwarded a few to my fam and my brother asked me if I was bored haha granted this was like after the 4th video I sent. But they were funny videos to me! haha
Every weekend this month its been raining on the weekends. NOO! Not only can we not escape the house, Wes hasn't been able to take Aiden anywhere on their dates, and grocery shopping can't happen like normal (having to go during my lunch breaks, and multiple trips since I try to avoid going with both kids but you can't get dairy products at 12pm and let them sit in your car until 4pm).
And guess what?! It's suppose to rain this weekend too! NOOOO not Easter! We didn't go to any hunts last weekend bc of rain. Saturday is Aiden's "girlfriends" birthday party at a park...that he's been talking about for 2 weeks. That means no egg hunt outside either this weekend. Annoying!
