Thrift Store Finds

This weekend was fun! On Saturday, I ran some errands with Regina and Chris and of course little man.

1st stop Hancock Fabrics. They had their patterns on sale plus I needed to pick up a few inches of Christmas fabric for my Christmas gifts for the coworkers. I'm giving them some jelly that we made a few weeks back. If I waited to get the fabric for the tops I'd be too late come Christmas time. But excellent selection!

Aiden was cute like always. Picture this. Aiden in the stroller, both hands sticking out running his hands through all the fabric as we went down the isle. Then all of the sudden out of no where he'd grab one! lol Oh is that the one you like little man?! He would just smile and let go of it so we could continue.

2nd stop Salvation Army. Find....Buffet and a bunch of books for Aiden. Thrift stores are the best places for books! You can't beat 49 cents! And the buffet, I didn't spot it Regina did and oh how I'm happy she did. It's PERFECT! Perfect size, perfect color! I've desperately needed something to store my China in, and something to put on our huge blank wall in the kitchen. It's got a little love on it, but hey that's what makes it even better! Plus you can't beat $130 for a mahogany buffet! The pictures don't do it justice, taken with cellphone, but I'll update when I get finished cleaning it and finally use the Pier 1 card to decorate the top.

Now that I have a place to store my china...maybe I'll actually use it?! It was Mudder sister's pattern which I fell in love with when I first saw it because of the simplicity (gray, white, and silver)and it has the raised paint! Hopefully I won't every break any pieces, because it's a discontinued pattern. :-(

I leave on a cute note....What do you see in the picture? Yes, that is Aiden passed out hugging his bottle! lol Not a toy but a bottle...I guess we know what he loves the most :-)
